was literally born into business. My family has been in business in
Central New York since the late 1800's. I have been surrounded by
business strategies and sales since I was born. I am passionate about
helping our community develop and grow.
I am in business and the business I'm in is REAL ESTATE. I am hooked on gaining more knowledge about the industry on a global level, so I can best help my clients. When I am not coming up with new ways to market our clients properties, I am traveling across the country attending conferences and events to gain more information and to contribute my ideas on the business systems for real estate. The Hodgkins and O'Hara Team is one of the top 200 teams in America. Tom and I both have our Broker's Lisences and we use them to bring you the best possible service available in CNY. I have a wife and three kids who fill up my time and life outside of real estate. I try to dedicate my weekends to them as much as possible (which can be difficult in this indusrty). We play a lot of sports (skiing, tennis, golf, boating...) and support our local restaurants. Life is good. I love working with the Hodgkins and O'Hara team because it is a great group of professional people who are not afraid to think outside of the box while still maintaining the enthusiasm and perseverance that is necessary in the real estate business. |

After a 22 year career in the telecommunications and networking industry, I became business partners with Chip Hodgkins and together built the “Hodgkins and O’Hara Real Estate Team”. Real Estate is what I do, I am constantly gaining more knowledge abut the industry so that I can best help our clients. When I’m not coming up with new innovative ways to market our resources or training members of the H & O Real Estate Team, I am out and about across the country attending conferences and events to gain more information and contribute ideas on the business systems. As for hobbies, as I said before I do real estate…. However, when I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family & friends. I also enjoy basketball, boating, not to mention devoting a number of hours to community projects and charitable organizations throughout the CNY area. |

Melissa joins the team with over 13 years of real estate experience. She spent four years as an active agent, then turned her hand to being an office manager for a real estate team. She strives to make sure the client feels the customized attention deserved during the sometimes emotional experience of selling a home. Melissa has lived in the Syracuse area most of her life and has raised her two daughters here. |

Prior to becoming a Realtor, she owned Virtual Administrative Solutions where she was a virtual assistant. Diane brings her lifetime knowledge of Central New York to the rela estate industry, as well as excellent customer service abilities. She enjoys working with buyers and will work diligently to find the right home for you! |

Joel obtained his BA from the University of Rochester and Masters degrees from Johns Hopkins and SUNY Oswego. He has worked in Information Systems Consulting and Education prior to beginning his career in real estate. He brings with him strong interpersonal skills as well as an intense determination toward meeting the real estate needs of his customers. He is active in organized youth sports and is currently on the Board of Directors for the F-M Little League. |
